It’s been a week since Father’s Day, so it might feel like it is long gone. There are now 51 weeks until the next time you need to arrange for the brunch, the new tie, and the sentimental posts on Facebook to come back under your radar. But of course, if you are fortunate to have your dad in your life, then every day has the potential to be “Father’s Day.” While we have an opportunity to focus on dad once a year – the 3rd-Sunday-in-June, we can also take that day as a trampoline off of which we jump to celebrate dad on a routine basis.

Dads are special to us, year-round. Not only does honoring Dad on non-Father’s Day give him a way to feel loved, it also gives us the opportunity to show our love, and not limit the celebrations to a particular day. So, happy day for fathers, whenever that might be, anytime of year.
